Description
Known as one of the largest and most Star-studded parades of the Mardi Gras season, Endymion never fails to wow the crowd with it’s celebrity Grand Marshals and plentiful throws.  I have personally attended many Endymion parades and always come away with more beads, doubloons and candy than I can carry without help—they take their motto “Throw Until It Hurts” seriously.  People begin lining up for Endymion on the Saturday morning before Fat Tuesday even though the parade doesn’t begin until the evening hours.  The floats are always spectacular and flashy with tons of lights, colors and animation. It all ends with the Endymion Extravaganza with over 2300 members attending with another 12,000-14,000 more guests.
